Carol Godfrey, a retired health care worker, was born north of Melfort, Saskatchewan. She came to the Battleford's for her training, met husband Dan and stayed. Carol and Dan reside at Pelican Point on Murray Lake. They have 2 children and 7 grand-daughters.

Carol prefers to work with acrylics and has produced a variety of different styles.

Carol says that she has always wanted to be an artist and still remembers that a high school aptitude assessment indicated that she should pursue a career in the arts.
